WHY JOIN?
The Rotary Club of Towsontowne is a unique club set in a fun social setting with great networking, learning and leadership opportunities. As important, our club has numerous community and international service projects that you can learn about and / or immediately become involved in to better your community and world.

For example, among other projects, our club is currently:
  • Providing dictionaries to third graders at several local elementary schools;
  • Coordinating the purchase of an ambulance for a Nepalese hospital;
  • Raising funds for an elementary school for the poor in Brazil;
  • Raising funds for the Children’s Guild, a non-profit Baltimore school providing special needs education for children with emotional disabilities;
  • Mock interviewing high-school students at Dulaney Valley High School;
  • Developing a park in downtown Towson; and
  • Singing monthly at Manor Care Retirement Community;
Rotary International is one of the largest foundations in the world and is a primary force in eradicating the world of polio. If you feel like giving back to your community or world, this is a great way to get involved as much (or as little) as your time permits
.
